Dream Theater is coming back to Manila this April.

All Music’s Stephen Thomas Erlewine once described Dream Theater’s music as a dense blend of progressive rock and post-Halenmetal. The band is known for being one of the early progenitors of the Progressive Metal genre. Dream Theater created a unique way of introducing metal using distorted guitars and fast riffing, they are also known for their technical proficiency and ultimate execution skills when it comes to heavy metal riffs.
Two years after the success of ” Images, Words, & Beyond Tour”, the band is back to Manila this April for another concert. The performance will happen at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City on April 30, 2020, as part of their ” Distance Over Time” tour organized by MyMusicTaste.
Tickets will be available via TicketNet starting at 3 p.m. on February 10, with prices ranging from P2,000 to P6,000.
The “Distance Over Time” tour, which kicked off the second half of 2019, promotes Dream Theater’s latest album of the same name and commemorates the 20th anniversary of their fifth album, “Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory.”
